Features :
Thrust ball bearings consist of two precision chrome steel washers(ring) and a ball complement spaced by bronze retainer. They can besupplied with or without radius ball grooves in the rings. Thrustbearings are used under purely axial loads.Thrust ball bearings canhandle loads in the axial direction only. Bearing rings mounted onthe shaft are called shaft washers, and those mounted in thehousing are called housing washers. Both washers contain racewaysfor the balls.Thrust ball bearings are available as both single andbi-directional types. The bi-directional thrust bearingincorporates a third washer and an additional set of balls. Thiscenter washer is located in the axial direction by a shaft shoulderand sleeve.Care must be taken in handling to prevent damage to theseparable rings and ball assemblies
